CITIZENSHIP INTELLIGENCE COMPETITION AND THE 1945 CONSTITUTION “IN THE FRAMEWORK OF IMPROVING THE YOUNG GENERATION WITH NATIONAL INSIGHT"

The Citizenship and Law Education Student Association, Faculty of Social Sciences, Yogyakarta State University (FIS UNY) held a Pancasila Intelligent Contest (LCC) and the 1945 Constitution of SMA/SMK Equivalent at the national level on October 9, 2021 and October 16, 2021. The LCC lasted for two days from 08.00 am to 16.00 pm it was held online and was attended by 90 teams. Each competition team consists of three students representing each SMA/SMK equivalent from various provinces in Indonesia. The purpose of holding this event is to be able to increase the national insight of the younger generation through an understanding of the values of Pancasila and the Constitution in force in Indonesia.
On the first day of the competition, a Preliminary Round was held. In the preliminary round, the participants must work on 50 multiple choice questions together with the TEAM in the same location using one device. Only 9 teams qualify for the semifinals in this round.
On the second day, on October 16, 2021, 9 teams were able to qualify for the semifinals, namely SMAN 5 Yogyakarta, SMAN 1 Seponti, SMAN 5 Pontianak, SMA N 1 Randu Blatung, MAN Kotawaringin Timur, SMAN 3 Sukoharjo, SMAN 1 Tengaran Semarang. , SMAN 2 Bantul, and MAN 1 Blitar. Of the 9 teams, only 3 teams were entitled to advance to the final round.
Cici Paramida as the head of the LCC Pancasila Committee and the 1945 Constitution said “Congratulations to the winners, it is hoped that through the competition that we organize the younger generation can increase their enthusiasm for learning and be able to instill the values contained in Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution then can build and increase relations between schools throughout Indonesia so that it can strengthen national unity and can also provide understanding to all students that the importance of diversity is to strengthen tolerance among pluralism in Indonesia, as well as to increase enthusiasm and form a young generation of character through Pancasila and Citizenship Education.
